Helpful Herb Gardening Books For Beginners
Looking for a herb gardening book that will be helpful?
When you are just starting out it’s so nice to have a few reference books on hand for growing tips and identifying plants.
There are so many really great herb growing books out there that you can get confused…or spend a small fortune buying lots of books you may not need to start your herb garden.

I’ve gone through my library and listed a few of my old favorites here for you.
Those in the first group are nice for foraging and harvesting wild herbs and plants-if you are so inclined!
The second group contains a few books that have terrific full color photos of most common herbs- both cultivated and wild. These books are great for seeing what the plants look like, getting ideas about plant size, and individual cultivation tips.
You can find most of these online, and many of them are available used and VERY inexpensive from the used booksellers on Amazon.com and www.used.addall.com
