Name that herb plant!
So you’ve started a few things from seed and planted a few new herbs. They sort of look alike, but you know where you planted everything, right?
If you’re like me you sure do. You just can’t remember 20 minutes later.
So take a look at these three herbs.They sort of look alike, don’t they?
Yep, and the bottom two look nearly identical.
They really aren’t.
If you’ve never grown before and aren’t sure what they should look, smell or taste like it’s easy to confuse things.
Do yourself a big favor and make sure you have tags for your plants!
Tags don’t need to be fancy or expensive. You can paint a rock. You can write on a Popsicle stick or a piece of window blind. You can scratch a name on a piece of metal. Of course you can always buy plant markers or tags, and there are some very cool products out there like these beauties from Mon Petit Chou Boutique.
Just identify your herbs and plants so in 20 minutes or two weeks from now you’ll know which is which! ?
